About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Pastry Confectioner to join our team at Gerhard's Elegant European Desserts.

Job Summary

This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated and motivated individual to take on a leadership role in our pastry department, working closely with our head chef to create exquisite desserts that exceed our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of pastry chefs and assistants in the production of high-end pastries, cakes, and desserts
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and presentation
  • Collaborate with the head chef to plan menus, manage inventory, and optimize kitchen operations
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a senior pastry chef or in a similar leadership role
  • Demonstrated expertise in all aspects of pastry production, including baking, decorating, and presentation
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
  • A keen sense of business acumen, with experience in managing inventory, costs, and labor
Benefits and Compensation

We offer a competitive salary package, ranging from $60,000 to $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you can expect:

  • A 5-day workweek, Tuesday through Saturday
