Job Overview

Position: Catering Server and Bartender

Location: San Marcos, CA

Teri Campus of Life is dedicated to providing outstanding service for a variety of events, with a strong focus on weddings and corporate gatherings. We are seeking enthusiastic Servers/Bartenders to join our team, responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service while embodying our brand values. The ideal candidate will thrive in a team-oriented environment and possess excellent interpersonal skills to ensure a memorable experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare banquet areas according to service requirements.
  • Ensure readiness for service by polishing utensils and setting up the necessary items.
  • Assist in food preparation prior to and during events.
  • Serve appetizers and plated meals, as well as manage buffet service.
  • Efficiently transport food from the kitchen to the service area.
  • Support post-event activities including cleanup, inventory management, and storage.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations.
  • Comply with local laws regarding the sale of alcoholic beverages.
  • Set up and dismantle bar and beverage stations.
  • Provide bartending services during events as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Employment Type: Part-time, on-call as needed

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate plus tips

Qualifications:

  • Valid serve certification required.
  • ABC certification is necessary.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Able to thrive in high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent communication skills for interaction with guests and team members.
  • Availability for a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Reliable transportation for late shifts.
