Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Shift Engineer to join our team at ThyssenKrupp Crankshaft Co. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial equipment and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and direct maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize equipment productivity.
  • Coordinate and prioritize maintenance tasks, ensuring that all necessary repairs and maintenance are completed in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with production associates, maintenance technicians, and supervisors to diagnose and resolve equipment problems.
  • Manage and maintain our work order and preventative maintenance management system.
  • Support and guide troubleshooting and repairing of complex equipment, including automated machines, robotics, controls, panels, relays, circuit breakers, and communication systems.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to reduce equipment failures and downtime.
  • Perform Lean analysis to identify root causes of equipment failures and provide recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronic Engineering, or a closely related field of study.
  • 2 years of experience in a maintenance specialist, maintenance engineer, or maintenance supervisor position, or in a related maintenance engineering role.
  • Proven experience in conducting troubleshooting, supporting and guiding troubleshooting, developing and implementing preventative maintenance plans, and performing Lean analysis.
