Citadel Securities is seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Researcher to join our team. As a Quantitative Researcher, you will play a key role in developing next-generation models and trading approaches for a range of investment strategies.

Your Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize valuation strategies and develop mathematical models to drive investment decisions.
  • Back test and implement trading models and signals in a live trading environment.
  • Utilize unconventional data sources to drive innovation and improve trading performance.
  • Conduct research and statistical analysis to build and refine monetization systems for trading signals.

Your Qualifications

  • PhD degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, or another highly quantitative field.
  • Strong knowledge of probability and statistics, machine learning, time-series analysis, pattern recognition, and NLP.
  • Prior experience working in a data-driven research environment.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases, distributed computing using MapReduce, and translating mathematical models into code.
  • Independent research experience and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
