Job Summary:


The Clinical Manager is a Physical Therapist responsible for maintaining high standards of patient care and coordinating the complex, interdisciplinary management of home health patients.

This role includes oversight of all patient care services and staff management. The Clinical Manager may delegate tasks while ensuring proper supervision is maintained.

Reports to the Administrator and supervises all personnel.

Job Qualifications:

Education:
Must meet the educational requirements for a Physical Therapist.

Licensure:
Must hold a valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Texas.

Experience:
Managerial experience is required, with a preference for candidates who have experience in home health settings. A minimum of one year in a clinical managerial role as a Physical Therapist is necessary.

Skills:
Strong clinical, managerial, and communication skills are essential for success in this role. Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English is required.

Transportation:
Reliable transportation is necessary for travel to patient locations.

Environmental and Working Conditions:
Work primarily occurs in patients' homes, with occasional duties in an office environment during agency operating hours. Availability during all operating hours is expected.

Physical and Mental Effort:
This role involves prolonged sitting and the ability to operate office equipment, which may include heavy lifting, bending, and standing. Candidates must be able to handle stressful situations calmly and courteously, meeting deadlines and patient needs effectively. Quick decision-making and resource access are required.
Essential Functions include:
1. Conducting patient evaluations
2. Coordinating patient care and referrals
3. Assigning patient and personnel responsibilities
4. Providing direct supervision of staff
5. Participating in quality assurance committees as needed
6. Continuously assessing patient needs
7. Developing, implementing, and updating individualized Plans of Care
8. Being available for patient inquiries regarding services via phone or email
9. Meeting mandatory continuing education requirements.

Job Type:
Full-time or part-time opportunities available.

Salary:
$60,000 - $95,000 annually
