Schedule:

  • This role involves 2 weeks on the road followed by one off week at home, repeating for the entire year.
  • The shift is day shift, 8:00am until 8:00pm until the store is completed.
  • Most stores will be located in the Southeast.

Typical duties include:

  • Leading crews of up to 25 or more, as well as working directly with clients
  • Regularly communicating daily with project managers and client personnel to provide project updates
  • Welcoming and training new field employees
  • Scheduling and coordinating with the team to prioritize project tasks
  • Reading and communicating fixture plans to determine correct placement of all fixtures
  • Installing overhead signage, aisle markers, and other store décor packages
  • Setting shelves, peg hooks, shelf strips, price labels, and stocking merchandise according to a planogram
  • Collaborating with team members and working effectively as a group
  • Enforcing company policies and demonstrating a good work ethic and excellent attendance

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills, including experience communicating with new crews, clients, and company leaders
  • Multiple years of experience installing fixtures in a retail store environment
  • New store and store remodel experience is a must
  • Ability to understand and uphold company policy and maintain a sense of professionalism at all times
  • Ability to get along with others and manage performance and behaviors of a team per company guidelines
  • Must have own reliable transportation (not shared); we do not provide rentals, and public transportation will not suffice
  • Demonstrate technical skills required to assist with reporting and documentation for projects as assigned
  • Be reliable and commit to working assigned hours provided on the project schedule
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and planograms
  • Own and demonstrate safe usage of basic power tools, hand tools, tape measure, chalk line, and levels
  • Must be able to safely stand, bend, stoop, kneel, and climb ladders up to 20 feet high for long periods of time; have strength to pull, push, and lift materials and products up to 50 pounds consistently
  • Ensure all safety policies are always followed
  • Ability to pass national background check and random drug screenings
  • A valid driver's license and government-issued identification
