Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sales and Marketing Associate to join our team. As a key member of our sales support team, you will play a crucial role in assisting our sales and marketing team in achieving the community's occupancy and revenue goals. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting the sales and marketing team in managing the community's sales and marketing database (CRM), maintaining appropriate sales collateral, supporting the scheduling and execution of on-site sales and marketing events, and coordinating resident move-in administrative tasks. In addition, you may be responsible for advancing leads through the sales process, under the supervision of the Director of Sales (DOS) or Director of Sales and Marketing (DSM).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the sales and marketing team in maintaining a thorough working proficiency in the CRM lead tracking system.
  • Maintain all current prospect records in the CRM lead tracking system.
  • Support the Executive Director (ED), DSM, and DOS in building trusting relationships with prospects by understanding the Sunrise product and its ability to meet customer needs.
  • E nsure model suites/apartments are well maintained and presentable.
  • Support the ED, DSM, and DOS in setting, tracking, and accomplishing sales goals in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate effective telephone skills to produce qualified leads and appointments.
  • Prepare Administrative Files according to Sunrise and state-specific regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the move-in process as outlined in the Resident Move-In Checklist.
  • Meet with residents and/or family members to review the Move-In Packet and explain all information.
  • Coordinate and facilitate Resident Assessments with the Resident Care Director (RCD) and Assisted Living Coordinator (ALC)/Reminiscence Coordinator (RC).
  • Ensure all Sunrise and required state forms are completed by residents and/or family members on or before move-in date.
  • Schedule Resident Agreement Signings on Move-In day, collect any remaining paperwork, and review welcome packets with residents and family members.
  • Orientate residents and families to the community, present rooms to residents and families, and explain telephone and emergency procedures systems and other services (hair care/salon, transportation, activities, etc.).
  • Arrange lunch or dinner for residents and family members on Move-In day.
  • Ensure suite/apartments are ready for move-in using the Suite Readiness Checklist.
  • Communicate necessary suite/apartment readiness needs with the Maintenance Coordinator.
  • Maintain open dialogue with residents and/or family members from time the Move-In Fee is placed through move-in to ensure smooth transitions and identify resident/family needs.
  • Initiate communication with residents' physicians and/or families to ensure completion and delivery of Physician Statements and any state-specific forms.
  • Assist residents and family members in making emotional connections to the new community through awareness, integration, and socialization techniques and engaging activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident information at all times.
  • Participate in Sunrise Founders Club programs to ensure benefits are received by residents and/or family members.
  • Partner with the community team to ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, promote Risk Management programs and policies, and adhere to safety rules and regulations.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a sales support role or two years of experience as a Sunrise Team Member.
  • Previous customer service or sales experience.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent phone, written, and verbal skills for effective communication.
  • Ability to facilitate small group presentations.
  • Competent in organizational and time management skills.
  • Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel), and Sunrise applications with the ability to learn new applications.
