Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Nurse to join our team at Havasu Regional Medical Center. As an Emergency Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Performs initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
- Establishes a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient according to his or her capabilities and desires.
- Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Nursing required.
- RN License in the State of AZ or another compact state.
- ACLS and PALS required upon hire.
- TNCC required within 6 months of hire.
- Moderate and Deep Sedation, EKG course, and NIHSS Stroke within 30 days of hire.
- 2 years experience in Emergency Department preferred. 1 year Paramedic, EMT or ED Tech experience combined with 1 year RN experience will be considered.
