As a Vascular Imaging Technologist, you will play a crucial role in the assessment and diagnosis of peripheral vascular conditions. Your expertise will contribute to the overall health and well-being of patients through advanced imaging techniques.

Work Schedule:
Thursday to Saturday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct vascular diagnostic examinations to identify peripheral vascular diseases or blockages.
2. Assess patients for the presence of vascular conditions by selecting the most effective diagnostic procedures in accordance with regulatory standards.
3. Perform necessary diagnostic tests, document patient results, and communicate findings accurately.
4. Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, promptly notifying physicians of any abnormalities or changes in patient status.
5. Maintain adequate inventory of supplies and ensure all imaging equipment is functioning correctly; report any deficiencies.
6. Position patients accurately and select appropriate anatomical and technical parameters for imaging.
7. Adhere to all regulatory agency standards in all activities.
8. Ensure timely submission of high-quality images and documentation to the PACS system, ensuring accuracy in lead markers and patient data.
9. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized imaging department, including procedure rooms and storage areas.
Qualifications:
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider certification required within 30 days of hire.
- One or more of the following credentials is required:
- Cardiographic Technician specializing in Vascular Interpretation (CCI)
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography (ARRT)
- Sonography Technician specializing in Vascular Sonography (ARDMS)
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable job-specific experience.
