Core Responsibilities:
As a Registered Nurse, you will utilize your expertise, skills, and clinical judgment to deliver both direct and indirect patient care. Your role will include:
- Engaging in educational activities for patients, families, and staff.
- Ensuring safety and best practices in all patient care activities.
- Staying updated with current nursing knowledge and professional standards.
Additional Responsibilities:
Your duties may also encompass:
- Performing other tasks as assigned by management.
- Assuming charge nurse responsibilities when designated.
- Assigning patient care tasks based on staff skills, experience, and patient needs.
- Providing guidance and mentorship to staff as necessary.
- Participating in departmental quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:
- An Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited institution.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- A valid RN license for the State of Texas or a current compact state license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Experience with electronic medical records systems.
- A consistent work history demonstrating longevity with previous employers.
Salary Range:
$30-$45 per hour
