Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Senior Litigation Attorney to join our team. As a senior attorney, you will be responsible for handling complex litigation matters, drafting pleadings and motions, and conducting legal research.

Responsibilities
  • Drafting and Filing Documents: Draft and file pleadings, motions, briefs, and memoranda in federal and state courts.
  • Conducting Legal Research: Conduct thorough research and analysis of complex legal issues.
  • Collaboration and Strategy: Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to develop case strategy and approach.
  • Discovery and Trial Preparation: Draft and respond to discovery requests, prepare for trial, and conduct depositions.
  • Communication and Negotiation: Communicate and negotiate with opposing counsel, and attend hearings.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 8 years of experience in federal and state court litigation.
  • Qualifications: Strong command of Florida and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence.
  • Skills: Ability to manage an independent caseload effectively, and strong academic background with a focus on litigation-related coursework.
  • Bar Membership: Member of the Florida Bar.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Class Action Defense Experience: Experience in class action defense litigation is a plus.
  • Federal Court Experience: Significant experience with Federal Court litigation is preferred.
Benefits
  • Competitive Salary: $150,000 - $175,000 per year depending on experience.
  • Performance-Based Bonus: Performance-based bonus and origination bonus for those interested in developing a book of business.
  • Benefits Package: Health insurance paid in full or partially paid, dental insurance paid in full, vision insurance paid in full, 401(k) after one calendar year of employment, and paid time off.
