Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement innovative sales and distribution strategies to advocate for Cornell's integrated solutions.
  • Identify and engage high-potential customers, including OEMs and Distributors, within our Nurse Call and Area of Refuge alarm system markets.
  • Develop comprehensive proposals that resonate with customer requirements and align with company capabilities.
  • Effectively communicate project specifications within the organization.
  • Proactively identify and manage project risks, ensuring cost control and adherence to timelines.
  • Maintain consistent and transparent communication with clients to guarantee satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Oversee the fulfillment of all contractual commitments, ensuring cost efficiency, timely delivery, and superior service quality.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales objectives while upholding company gross margin targets.
  • Mentor and assist colleagues, particularly in Sales and Product Development.
  • Assess, evaluate, and propose new vertical markets for our existing technology and software.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the CEO and National Sales Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Demonstrated nationwide telephone and in-person sales expertise with the ability to craft effective customer solutions.
  • Strong teamwork and initiative, with a proactive mindset for identifying opportunities.
  • Adaptability to change and the capability to influence others through clear communication.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, CRM systems, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Basic understanding of IT networking principles.
  • A minimum of eight years of relevant experience in account development and sales is preferred.
  • At least five years of nationwide travel experience and account management with senior executives.
  • Experience with electronic fire alarm systems, life safety, and building construction contractors, as well as senior living community management, is advantageous.
  • This role is office-based with field visits and requires regular work-related travel.
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills are essential.
