  • Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including docks and parking areas, to identify and report any potential security threats or hazards.
  • Monitor and respond to alarms and emergencies, providing immediate assistance as needed.
  • Interact with clients and employees, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Inspect equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning and report any malfunctions or tampering.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, security breaches, and other relevant information.
  • Collaborate with other security personnel to ensure a safe and secure environment.
  • Participate in training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest security protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; five years of related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of homeland security and public assembly facilities.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Valid California driver's license required.
  • First Aid, CPR, AED, and Bloodborne Pathogens certification required.
Working Conditions

The Security Officer will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring the ability to stand, walk, and talk for extended periods. The employee must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds and have specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
