About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at The Medical Center of Aurora. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Perform simple and complex radionuclide diagnostic procedures for patients of all ages, ensuring accurate and timely results.
  • Calibrate and maintain equipment, as well as perform quality control checks to ensure optimal performance.
  • Develop and maintain expert technical and patient-care skills, providing quality diagnostic results and exceptional patient experiences.
  • Manage supplies and inventory, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and maintain a Radioactive Materials License, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Completion of an AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine training program.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) certification.
  • 3-6 years of recent hospital Nuclear Medicine experience, including nuclear cardiology, preferred.
