Job Summary

Premier Infusion and Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Clerk to join our team. As a Medical Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enteral Order Entry and Management: Enter and prepare enteral feeding orders for filling and dispensing, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely delivery of enteral formula, equipment, and supplies.
  • Data Entry and Auditing: Perform data entry of patient medication profiles and patient chart audits, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records.
  • Communication and Liaison: Act as liaison for the Enteral team with the Nutrition Support department, communicating with doctors, nurses, and hospitals regarding patient care, and ensuring seamless coordination of care.
  • Order Preparation and Verification: Prepare labels and generate delivery tickets, verifying orders for accuracy and completeness.
  • Patient Discharge and Charting: Discharge patients from CPR+ at the end of therapy, ensuring accurate and complete charting of patient information.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent required; minimum 3 years' retail pharmacy experience preferred, with experience in home infusion/enteral dispensing a plus.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Advanced level of accuracy, excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to work with minimal direction, and proficiency in computer skills, including spreadsheets and internet use.
  • License and Certification: Licensed as a Pharmacy Technician in California preferred, but not required.
