Nurse Practitioner MSN Specialist

To deliver high-quality patient care, the Nurse Practitioner MSN Specialist will assess, treat, and counsel patients in a primary or acute care setting. This role requires advanced assessment and evaluation techniques, as well as the ability to plan, implement, and evaluate health care needs.
Key Responsibilities- Assess health status and health potential, planning and implementing therapeutic regimens for patients.
- Consult with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop and manage patient care plans.
- Teach and counsel patients regarding their current health care status and the signs and symptoms of illness.
- Perform clinical and therapeutic procedures, including history and physical examinations.
- Assume a leadership role in developing nursing care policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will possess the knowledge and skills necessary to provide developmentally appropriate assessment, treatment, or care. Specifically, they must be able to demonstrate competency in patient group knowledge, growth and development, and treatment planning.
Common Duties and Responsibilities- Maintain and document patient records, demonstrating positive customer service and co-worker relationships.
- Comply with the company's attendance policy and participate in continuous quality improvement activities.
- Perform work in a cost-effective manner, adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
- Master's Degree in Nursing (Required)
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (Required) or Physician Assistant License
- Basic Life Support (Required) Within 30 days of hire
