Job Title: Traveling Ultrasound Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team as a Traveling Ultrasound Specialist. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality ultrasound services to patients in various healthcare settings.

Job Summary:
  • Provide ultrasound services to patients in various healthcare settings
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment
  • Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures
  • Conduct ultrasound examinations and interpret results
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
Responsibilities:
  • Perform ultrasound examinations on patients of all ages
  • Operate ultrasound equipment, including scanners and probes
  • Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them for the examination
  • Conduct ultrasound examinations, including scanning and interpreting images
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams, including radiologists, physicians, and nurses, to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of ultrasound examinations and results
Requirements:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
  • Current certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS) or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel to various healthcare settings
