Job Summary

The Walsh Group is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, erecting, and installing structures made of wood, plywood, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Measure and mark guidelines on working surfaces to prepare for laying down work
• Prepare, build, and install wooden structures in line with prefabricated units to form bridge, drain structures, walls, and additional structures
• Assist with installation of awnings, metal decking for concrete slabs
• Use carpenter's belt with carpentry hand tools, power tools, and other wood making machinery

Requirements

• 3-5 years of verifiable experience preferred
• Ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffold/ladder
• Lift up to 50 lbs; work in adverse weather conditions
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors
• Strong work ethic and desire to learn
• Good manual dexterity; standing, bending, kneeling, or sitting for long periods
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening
