Pediatric Nursing Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Student Nurse Assistant to join our Pediatrics team at Vaughan Regional Medical Center. As a Student Nurse Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care and support to our pediatric patients.
Responsibilities
- Monitor vital signs and perform basic patient care activities as delegated by the RN.
- Assist patients with personal care and activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, eating, and ambulation.
- Report any abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to the nursing staff.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized patient environment.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an approved nursing education program and have completed coursework in pharmacology, medication administration, and fundamentals.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
