Overview

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a key member of our clinical nutrition team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the nutritional care of our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Clinical Nutrition Supervisor and Department Director to develop and implement effective nutrition care plans.
  • Provide inpatient care and establish, implement, and evaluate nutrition care plans for patients.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality nutrition care and serve as a preceptor for clinical interns and students.
  • Act as a liaison between the clinical nutrition team and other disciplines and providers, providing training and education as needed.
Qualifications
  • Education: Any program approved by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics that leads to registration as a Registered Dietitian/Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist (RD/RDN).
  • Basic knowledge of subspecialty areas, including nutrition support, diabetes, cardiology, renal, and oncology.
  • Must obtain approximately 15 hours of continuing education credits per calendar year and stay current with new findings and research.
  • Experience: Six months of clinical experience in an acute care facility is preferred.
  • Licensure/Certifications: Registration with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and an Oklahoma State license. Must obtain a food handler's permit from Cleveland County Health department before hire.
