POSITION SUMMARY:
The Physical Therapist will respond to physician referrals for physical therapy services. Responsibilities include administering and interpreting various tests and assessments for patients. The therapist will review patient records and progress before treatment and adjust the treatment plan as necessary. The role involves setting functional goals based on the expectations of patients and their families. The therapist will work to enhance, restore, and maintain functional mobility, aiming to assist patients in achieving their highest level of independence. Clarification of physician orders will be sought when required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education - Required: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy. Preferred: Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Experience - Preferred: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing Physical Therapist in a healthcare environment.
Certification - Required: Valid State Licensure.
