Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Product Development Co-Op to join our team at Wabash Inc. As a Co-Op, you will assist in various product development projects, collaborating with adjacent teams to design, optimize, and test new and existing products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical products, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate product requirements, identify design failure mode risk, and develop testing strategies.
  • Assist in creating testing methods and interpreting testing results, ensuring quality and reliability.
  • Support department initiatives, such as VA/VE and new product development, through the Product Change Process.
  • Assist team members with manufacturing process improvement projects, lean manufacturing, and equipment qualification/validation.
Requirements
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (EE), Electrical Engineering Technology (EET), or equivalent.
  • Experience in product development and 3D CAD software (preferably SolidWorks).
  • Fundamental knowledge of basic manufacturability processes and material properties.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
