In your role as an Infrastructure Automation Specialist at Divergent Enterprises, you will be instrumental in refining our development and deployment pipelines, guaranteeing the reliability and scalability of our software systems.
Your collaboration with software developers, system administrators, and other cross-functional teams will be essential in automating and enhancing our infrastructure and deployment processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated software builds, testing, and deployment.
- Monitor and enhance the CI/CD process to ensure efficient, reliable, and high-quality software delivery.
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform and Ansible, to define and provision infrastructure components, minimizing manual tasks and ensuring consistency.
- Implement cost-effective strategies for monitoring and managing cloud resources.
- Establish and maintain monitoring solutions to proactively identify and resolve system performance issues.
- Optimize system resources for enhanced efficiency and scalability.
- Strengthen security measures and apply best practices to safeguard data and ensure system integrity.
- Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline routine tasks and reduce manual intervention.
- Participate in on-call rotations to promptly address system incidents and outages.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to efficiently diagnose and resolve issues.
- Develop and uphold software development best practices to ensure high-quality code, effective testing, and timely releases.
- Continuously monitor industry trends in DevOps engineering and software development, integrating new technologies and best practices into our processes.

Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in software development and operations (DevOps).
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI, CircleCI), version control systems (e.g., Git), and scripting languages (e.g., Bash).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, Groovy, and Go.
- Familiarity with containerization and cloud provisioning tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Experience with object storage management such as AWS S3 and MinIO is advantageous.
- Ability to establish and manage monitoring solutions and optimize system performance using tools like Zabbix, Prometheus, Kibana, and Grafana.
- Knowledge of system and network administration.
- Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Deep understanding of software development processes and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including application developers, computational engineers, product management, and customer success.
