APU Material Planner

Aero Turbine, Inc. is seeking a skilled APU Material Planner to join our team. As an APU Material Planner, you will be responsible for establishing cost and material inputs to customer repair orders. You will analyze received APU material needs, in-house repair, stock availability, and new and outside repair shop purchases to ensure on-time delivery and cost.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a materials plan that satisfies on-time delivery and cost, working with Customer Support, Operations, and Purchasing.
- Develop, publish, and maintain allocations, balancing inventory, resources, and capacity.
- Coordinate actions to the APU and APU detail schedules when dictated by changes in business.
- Act as liaison between Production, Engineering, Purchasing, and Sales to ensure all information and materials are issued in timely support of the quoting process and overall repair plan.
- Drive cost savings and support Non-Conformance resolution.
- Develop and maintain planning BOM (estimate sheets).
- Support warehouse activities as required in support of APU repair parts kitting.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to company safety requirements.
- Regular attendance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a shop or warehouse environment.
- Experience with ERP and/or other inventory control systems.
- Aerospace background.
- Lean manufacturing.
- This is a largely sedentary role; however, lifting and filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files and pick and move parts from shelves as necessary.
