Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients, using clinical reasoning and best practices to inform care planning and decision-making.
  • Participate in evaluating nursing practice effectiveness and quality, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Create a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for patients and families.
  • Manage pain, promote comfort, and minimize suffering for patients.
  • Facilitate education for patients, families, nurses, and other healthcare team members, as well as the community.
  • Work collaboratively with others to implement care plans, including team members and community resources.
  • Employ strategies and utilize available resources to solve problems for patients, their families, and staff.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Nursing field of study
  • Less than a year of experience in a similar role
  • Vocational Nursing Practitioner's License
  • Basic Life Support certification (can be acquired within the first 30 days)
