Key Responsibilities

Oversee, coordinate, and provide leadership in directing the activities of nursing staff.

  • Evaluate daily patient access requirements and ensure that high-quality patient care is delivered. Provide oversight for all nursing department operations.
  • Ensure the delivery of quality patient care and the execution of clinical objectives.
  • Assign appropriate tasks to clinical personnel based on their assessed competencies, maintaining proficiency through continuous monitoring of daily operations.
  • Collaborate with departmental leadership to ensure adherence to updated processes.
  • Engage in ongoing quality improvement initiatives, auditing projects, and the development of enhancement plans.
  • Manage the hiring, training, direction, development, and evaluation of nursing staff.
Qualifications

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider certification preferred. Acceptable certifications include those from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Education:

  • Professional licensure/certification is required along with a minimum of one year of relevant job-specific experience.
