We are seeking a highly skilled Primary Care Physician to join our team at Premise Health. As a Primary Care Physician, you will be responsible for providing direct medical care to client company employees and their family members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide episodic, preventive, and acute health care to patients.
- Conduct histories and physical examinations, and prescribe medications and/or medical treatments based on best practice standards.
- Develop treatment plans in collaboration with patients, educate and advise on medical issues as needed.
- Provide referrals both internally and externally to appropriate medical resources or specialties.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of medical care and monitor progress of patients.
- Participate in the development of annual health center goals and objectives.
- Maintain medical records using electronic medical record software.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited medical school.
- At least three years of post-residency clinical experience.
- Experience in a primary care, urgent care, or emergency room setting.
- Licensed to practice medicine in the state within which the site is located.
- Board Certified in Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Primary Care, or Emergency Medicine by the AOA or ABMS, or Board Eligible in aforementioned practice areas.
- Current state and federal DEA certification.
- Current Certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for healthcare providers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge and experience with electronic medical records.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations.
