Visionary Communications LLC is a forward-thinking company providing innovative solutions in the fiber and wireless broadband industry. We are seeking an experienced Geospatial Analyst - Fiber Infrastructure to join our team.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Design fiber builds through compilation and analysis of datasets.
  2. Develop and maintain accurate plant maps and data, including partner assets such as duct, conduit, strand, primary and secondary lines, and poles.
  3. Support sales and marketing efforts by identifying prospective customers and ingesting data collected via mobile apps into the GIS.
  4. Create and maintain wireless coverage models, and analyze new potential tower opportunities.
  5. Collaborate with regulatory teams to ensure compliance with reporting requirements and assist grant teams with analyzing potential grant opportunities.

Key Skills

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in GIS, Cartography, Geography, Remote Sensing, or related field.
  • Proficient in FME (Feature Manipulation Engine) with 2+ years of experience.
  • Experience with geospatially aware databases such as PostgreSQL.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Salary Range: $25.18 - $31.73 per hour
