About the Role

We are seeking a skilled RN and GN to join our team at Royal Oak Hospital, a leading academic and referral center in Michigan.

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients in a variety of medical surgical units, including oncology, rehab, cardiology, and more.
  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patients, incorporating patient-family centered care principles.
  • Partner with patients and families to develop teaching strategies and document education and learning in the health record.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care and achieve positive patient outcomes.

Qualifications
  • Associates or diploma in nursing required; bachelor's degree in nursing required within 5 years for GN or RN with less than 1 year of experience.
  • MI registered nurse (RN) required within 60 days of hire.
  • AHA or ARC basic life support (BLS) required upon hire.

Our hospital is a Level I adult and Level II pediatric trauma center, with a Magnet designation and a Diagnostic Imaging Center of Excellence.
