Key Responsibilities- Monitor servers and bus person adherence to all service standards, ensuring a seamless and efficient dining experience for our guests.
- Supervise the service of guests, being watchful of signals from guests in need of service and providing prompt attention to their needs.
- Assist the restaurant manager in establishing and monitoring side work duty completion, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Maintain the restaurant to Crescent standards, including cleanliness, organization, and presentation.
- Read daily communication sheets from previous shifts and prepare one for the following shift, ensuring that all necessary information is communicated effectively.
- Check the floor plan for appropriate coverage and ensure that all areas of the restaurant are adequately staffed.
- Check the restaurant for cleanliness and set up, including service stands, aisle areas, and tables.
- Abide by all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Communicate daily with the restaurant manager regarding special events, house counts, and other important information.
- Assist the restaurant manager in conducting menu classes and taste panels, ensuring that all staff are knowledgeable about our menu offerings.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with staff, providing clear direction and guidance to ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service at all times.
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by the restaurant manager or other members of the hospitality team.
- Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Self-starting personality with an even disposition, able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times, ensuring that our guests receive a positive impression of our hotel.
- Ability to communicate well with guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring that their needs are met.
- Ability to use point of sale systems, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of transactions.
- Ability to lift/carry weight up to 50 pounds and push/pull carts of products weighing up to 150 pounds, ensuring that all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
- Customer Satisfaction: Our customers are what we are about. One of the keys to a positive guest experience is positive interaction with Crescent staff. It is essential that you remain professional at all times, and that you treat all guests and associates with courtesy and respect, under all circumstances.
- Work Habits: In order to maintain a positive guest and associate experience, your work habits should always meet and strive to exceed hotel standards for work procedures, dress, grooming, punctuality, and attendance.
- Safety & Security: The safety and security of our guests and associates is of utmost importance to Crescent. Every Crescent associate should adhere to the hotel security policies and procedures, particularly regarding key controls, lifting heavy objects, using chemicals, and effectively reporting safety hazards and safety concerns.
