About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Communicative Care Specialist to join our team at American Senior Communities. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional communication and speech therapy services to our residents.

Job Summary

The Communicative Care Specialist implements independently skilled speech-language services for patients, caregivers, and centers in accordance with the principles and practices of speech-language pathology and with ASC Therapies and Wellness policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates patients, develops initial and ongoing treatment plans, develops discharge plans, and contributes to case management.
  • Develops and implements individualized communication and speech therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for residents and their families.
