Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with Department Directors and Managers to ensure effective maintenance operations.
- Provide training for non-certified agency-required programs.
- Maintain current instructor certifications as required.
- Oversee maintenance across multiple facilities.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve maintenance objectives.
- Represent both yourself and the organization in a professional manner.
- Advocate for and protect the rights of individuals, ensuring they can express their preferences regarding daily living and care, provided these choices do not compromise their wellbeing.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance and repair roles.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License from any state.
- General knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, and residential maintenance.
- Preferred experience of at least 1 year working with adults and/or children with developmental disabilities or mental health challenges.
- Starting pay of $14 per hour, with potential increases after hiring.
- Supplemental medical insurance at no cost, with benefits improving once hired.
- Standard work hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST.
