Role Responsibilities
Foster a nurturing atmosphere by delivering emotional, psychological, and spiritual assistance to patients, their families, and friends.
Enhance and restore patient health by executing the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, providing both physical and emotional support, and overseeing assigned team members.
Encourage patient autonomy by setting care objectives, educating patients and their families about conditions, medications, and self-care techniques, and addressing inquiries.
Ensure high-quality care by adhering to therapeutic standards, evaluating health outcomes against established patient care goals, making necessary adjustments, and complying with nursing philosophies and standards set by regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
Education:
Graduation from an accredited nursing program recognized for licensure in the relevant state is mandatory.
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
Experience:
Prior experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous.
Certifications and Licenses:
Must hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Wisconsin: RNs may operate with a valid multi-state RN license as per the Nurse Licensure Compact regulations.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
Physical Requirements:
Clinical duties involve various physical demands.
