Role Summary:

The Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating mental health disorders through various therapeutic methods, including psychotherapy, medication management, and hospitalization when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver clinical services to patients within the facility.
  • Adhere to medical protocols established by federal and state regulations, along with corporate policies.
  • Assess medical histories to ensure patient stability and provide informed medical recommendations.
  • Conduct evaluations for mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders.
  • Implement treatment plans utilizing diverse psychotherapeutic techniques and medications.
  • Document patient care plans and services accurately and promptly.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) is mandatory.
  • A minimum of one year of post-graduate practice is preferred.
  • Must hold a valid license in the state of practice.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Board certification in psychiatry is required.
  • Current DEA credentials for prescribing controlled substances without restrictions as per state regulations.
