The Inpatient Registered Vascular Ultrasound Technologist is tasked with conducting non-invasive ultrasound assessments to evaluate the health and functionality of blood vessels, assisting in the diagnosis and management of vascular disorders such as thrombosis or arterial diseases.

Employing state-of-the-art imaging technology, this role generates high-resolution images that are essential for physicians to make well-informed decisions and deliver optimal patient care.

Responsibilities:


Conducts vascular ultrasound evaluations to provide precise assessments that aid in the detection of vascular disorders and support patient treatment strategies.


Interprets examination results, identifying irregularities and communicating findings effectively to healthcare professionals in both verbal and written forms, thereby contributing to informed medical decisions regarding vascular health and patient welfare.


Operates and maintains ultrasound machinery, ensuring its proper operation and promptly addressing any technical issues to guarantee uninterrupted patient care.

Engages with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, participating in case discussions, sharing insights, and contributing to holistic care plans.


If trained by staff education and demonstrates proficiency, performs IV insertions and maintains annual competency to ensure patient comfort and enhance the overall quality and efficiency of vascular assessments.

Undertakes additional responsibilities as assigned.
