Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Culinary Operations to join our team at MMI Dining Systems. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our healthcare facility, ensuring that our patients receive high-quality, nutritious meals that meet their dietary needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the nutritional needs of our patients, while also considering their cultural and personal preferences.
  • Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure that food is prepared and served safely and efficiently.
  • Manage food budgets and inventory to ensure that we are operating within our financial means.
  • Collaborate with our healthcare team to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care, including providing nutritional counseling and education.
  • Ensure that our kitchen meets all health and safety regulations, and that our staff are trained in food safety and handling procedures.
Requirements
  • CDM or DTR certification, or be exam eligible.
  • 3+ years of experience in a contract food service environment.
  • Proven track record of providing outstanding customer service and leading a team to achieve high-quality results.
  • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and inventory management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and healthcare professionals.
