Job Title: Assistant Director of Operations/District Manager

J.P. Mascaro & Sons, a leading waste management company, is seeking a highly organized and experienced Assistant Director of Operations/District Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our divisions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the planning and control of operations to ensure daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly operational goals are met or exceeded.
  • Ensure all required reporting is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure 100% environmental compliance standards are met.
  • Ensure 100% DOT compliance.
  • Ensure the safety of personnel and that OSHA standards are met.
  • Plan and control all equipment and maintenance needs.
  • Ensure the facilities are maintained in accordance with company standards.
  • Ensure adequate personnel staffing is maintained in order to service all accounts in an efficient manner.
Accounting Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the implementation and adherence to the operational and financial plan of the division.
  • Ensure the monthly budget is met.
  • Responsible for each line of business for profitability.
  • Responsible for timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting as required by the corporate accounting department.
Requirements:
  • Construction management experience is helpful.
  • Able to navigate Microsoft Office.
  • Able to perform audits in the field.
  • Excellent, concise, communication skills are essential.
  • Bilingual is helpful.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, sit, and stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
