Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Athletic Trainer to join our team at UNC Health Care. As an Athletic Trainer, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients in an ambulatory setting. This includes evaluating and treating injuries, developing rehabilitation plans, and educating patients on proper techniques to prevent future injuries.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in athletic training, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat injuries in an ambulatory setting
  • Develop and implement rehabilitation plans for patients
  • Provide education to patients on proper techniques to prevent future injuries
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Athletic Training or related field
  • Current certification as an Athletic Trainer (ATC)
  • Experience working in an ambulatory setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
