Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a reliability-centered maintenance program for our rotating equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance activities to ensure the integrity of our equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Develop and maintain detailed work scopes and bid packages for major overhauls and revamps.
- Inspect vendor shops to ensure compliance with specifications and agreed procedures and schedules.
- Set standards and requirements for contract maintenance personnel and manufacturing representatives.
- Purchase and maintain specialized test equipment for condition monitoring programs.
- Analyze condition data to predict equipment life and recommend optimum repair intervals.
- Maintain property records files on all rotating equipment, including vendor information, specifications, and regulatory codes.
- Prepare and approve engineering design for new installations, alterations, refurbishments, or replacements of equipment.
- Assist in planning and preparations for turnarounds, including preparing detailed scopes of work for major equipment overhauls and inspections.
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in petro-chemical, refining, or manufacturing.
- Strong mechanical engineering skills with knowledge of reliability methodology.
- Broad understanding of reliability tools such as vibration monitoring, oil analysis, and Infrared Thermography.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proven commitment to safety, health, and environmental performance.
