We are seeking an experienced Escrow Officer to join our team at Dream Finders Homes, Inc. as a key leader in our title and escrow operations.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will oversee the daily activities of our title and escrow branch, ensuring seamless service delivery to our parent company, Dream Finders Homes, Inc. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of real estate regulations and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee daily activity of a title & escrow branch.
- Supervise staff and provide coaching, mentoring, and training to all escrow staff.
- Direct and manage workflow, resolving escalated issues.
- Work with internal and external customers to manage residential resale, refinance, or builder escrow transactions.
- Ability to read and understand title commitments.
- Resolve title issues, including corrective deeds, vesting, federal tax liens, abstracts of judgment, bankruptcies, mineral rights, boundary disputes, and encroachments.
- Understand real estate regulations and guidelines.
- Follow company standards and practices when processing transactions, as well as applicable state laws and guidelines.
- Tennessee Licensed Title Agent.
- Tennessee Notary Public.
- Minimum of 5 years of escrow experience required.
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience preferred.
- Knowledge of SoftPro a plus.
- Builder title experience preferred.
- High school diploma required.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
