Job Title: RN Emergency Department

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Sigma Healthcare. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in emergency nursing, with a minimum of two years of experience in a similar setting. You will be responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and providing education to patients and families. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with the healthcare team and provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide direct patient care, including treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in unit-based decision-making and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
  • Actively participate in patient quality and safety education programs
Requirements:
  • Current RN state license (where applicable)
  • Minimum two years of ED experience
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
