POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Senior Mixologist will collaborate with the Restaurant General Manager to oversee the bar operations, which includes curating an innovative cocktail menu, optimizing the layout, and enhancing the operational workflow of the bar. This role encompasses daily setup, breakdown, and maintaining the cleanliness of the bar while ensuring high-quality service and adherence to company standards for guest satisfaction and profitability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and serve beverages to guests and cocktail servers, adhering to established guidelines and safety protocols.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a commitment to guest satisfaction and compliance with local beverage regulations.
• Optimize bar profitability through effective portion control and accurate charge monitoring.
• Verify guest identification to ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements. Process payments in accordance with company policies.
• Manage liquor requisitions and maintain inventory levels, ensuring compliance with state liquor laws.
• Complete side work as per established schedules.
• Assist in maintaining beverage inventories and ensure accurate record-keeping across all locations.
• Organize storage areas for beer, wine, and liquor to ensure efficiency.
• Develop new cocktail recipes for seasonal menus and train staff on current offerings.
• Establish and maintain side work procedures and expectations.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate bar updates and changes to the team.
• Foster a positive team environment while holding team members accountable for their responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent experience.

Experience: Minimum of six months to one year in a food and beverage service environment.

Skills: Proficient in mixing cocktails and providing exceptional guest service. Ability to multitask and operate modern bar equipment. Strong manual dexterity for handling food and beverages. Proficient in English communication.
