Position Overview

This role involves working approximately 20-29 hours per week during the night shift. The Retail Stocking Associate is tasked with managing inventory for a designated retail location, which includes overseeing stockroom supplies and floor displays. The individual will collaborate with warehouse and merchandising teams to ensure product availability and will assist the retail team in forecasting inventory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Regularly restocks items to maintain an adequately supplied sales floor, utilizing previous sales data.
  2. Monitors inventory levels and display arrangements to identify restocking needs.
  3. Ensures proper display of merchandise, maintaining the intended aesthetic of all presentations.
  4. Facilitates the processing of deliveries from the warehouse.
  5. Responds promptly to communication from the sales floor.
  6. Exhibits appropriate communication etiquette as per retail guidelines.
  7. Delivers exceptional customer service to enhance guest experiences.
  8. Assists customers in locating products as needed.
  9. Provides support to customers with the transport and loading of larger items.
  10. Maintains stockroom organization under the guidance of the Stockroom Supervisor.
  11. Implements a daily cleaning and organizing schedule for the stockroom.
  12. Prepares and maintains food samples for retail outlets.
  13. Ensures adequate wine stock levels through regular replenishment.
  14. Maintains a positive and professional demeanor at all times.

Qualifications:

  1. Prior experience in retail, inventory management, or customer service is highly preferred.
  2. Strong guest relations and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  3. Basic mathematical skills and familiarity with inventory management and point of sale systems.
  4. Demonstrated commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
  5. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment as part of a team.
  6. Proactive in anticipating guest needs and taking initiative.
  7. Strong judgment and multitasking abilities, with a knack for creative problem-solving.

Physical Requirements:

  1. Capability to lift, carry, and push/pull weights regularly.
