We are seeking a skilled Journeyman HVAC Technician to join our team at Synerfac. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial and industrial settings.
Responsibilities:- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including ductwork, vents, and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and inspecting equipment, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems, using technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to resolve problems.
- Work safely from ladders or lifts, and in tight equipment cabinets, to perform tasks as required.
- High School Diploma and 1-2 years trade school education in HVAC/R and related areas.
- 7 years related experience in commercial/industrial HVAC/R industry.
- Journeyman/Master HVAC trade license OR 13 years of commercial/industrial based HVAC/R experience.
- Type II EPA certification or above- for the handling and reclamation of refrigerants.
- Valid Drivers License with a good driving record.
- OSHA10 certification.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions.
- Ability to speak effectively with employees of organization.
- Ability to work from verbal instruction.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, and vibration.
The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
