Job Title: Forklift Operator

CIRCULUS ARDMORE, PBLLC is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe operation of forklifts, ensuring efficient and safe material handling throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts to move materials, products, and equipment within the facility.
  • Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation.
  • Load and unload materials, products, and equipment from trailers, containers, and storage areas.
  • Coordinate with supervisors to empty full containers and trash bins throughout the day.
  • Monitor equipment condition to ensure operational readiness and minimize downtime.
  • Follow all required safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1 year of prior related experience in forklift operation.
  • Minimum 1 year of prior experience working at a site regulated by OSHA.
  • Good time management skills to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed efficiently and safely.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and climb stairs.
  • Must complete and pass OSHA's requirements for forklift certification (powered industrial truck) training.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:

The work environment is on the plant floor, with moderate to loud noise levels. Employees and visitors are required to wear issued personal protective equipment (PPE), including hearing protection. The work schedule is dictated by the need to manage and react to issues on the shifts, with planned schedules for day and night shifts.

This position requires moderate lifting, standing, and walking for several hours at a time. The physical demands include standing, climbing stairs, balancing, bending, stooping, kneeling, or crawling, and working near moving mechanical parts.
