Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Intel Analyst (Order of Battle) to join our team at Modern Technology Solutions Inc. The successful candidate will use multiple data sources to shift through raw data and turn it into usable intelligence.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate data from a variety of sources, including open and classified sources.
- Create presentations in a variety of formats to support analysts' briefing requirements.
- 2+ years of relevant work experience, to include military-related research and analysis of country-specific conventional and strategic military forces, and experience searching literature for ground, naval, and air forces information.
- Experience with military intelligence and Order of Battle.
- Experience with all-source intelligence analysis, US government all-source analytic production, or specialized all-source intelligence analysis training.
- Experience with constructing and maintaining an OB and conducting analysis of military forces and operations.
- Demonstrated experience using various presentation formats such as maps, charts, graphs, spreadsheets, and other reports to display results of analysis.
- Demonstrated experience updating and manipulating data using Microsoft Office Products (especially MS Excel).
- Proficient in working with and updating a web-based database system.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to flex at a moment's notice.
- Demonstrated ability to use various MS Office tools.
- Basic familiarity with country-specific military terminology.
- Familiarity with Intelligence Community Gazetteers and tools to identify relevant locational data.
- Familiarity with exploiting metadata for all-source military analysis.
- Advanced expertise and demonstrated ability to construct OB on conventional and strategic military forces as well as complex and dynamic insurgency forces.
- Familiarity with information management systems used by the IC, including NGT, GoogleEarth, IntelMapper, ArcView.
- Experience or expertise in relevant country of focus.
- Experience with the Department of Defense Order of Battle (OB) information system known as the modernized Integrated Database (MIDB) MIDB.
- Proven military-related research and analysis experience with country-and regional-specific conventional and strategic military forces.
- Experience in research and analysis of regional insurgencies.
- Reading proficiency in a foreign language associated with country of focus.
- Bachelor's Degree in military history, political science, international relations, security studies, or other social science related discipline. 5 years of relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Top Secret/SCI with Full-Scope polygraph (FSP) to start.
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
