Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate RN Resident to join our team at Arkansas Children's Hospital. As a RN Resident, you will provide high-quality patient care in our Acute Care Rehabilitation department, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide basic professional nursing care to patients in our Acute Care Rehabilitation department
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the patient, family, and interdisciplinary team
  • Implement evidence-based nursing practice using best available evidence, patient's and family's preferences and values, and team's clinical expertise
  • Participate in interdisciplinary shared decision-making activities and contribute to the improvement of patient care, nursing practice, and the work environment
  • Advocate for patients, families, and the AC team as needed
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college program or technical school, or nursing diploma from a national accredited nursing school program
  • RN License (AR or Compact State) - Arkansas State Board of Nursing (ASBN)
  • No experience required, but a novice level of understanding and application of the AC Model of Patient and Family-Centered care is preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree Nursing
  • Certification specific to patient population
