Job Description

At Courseadvisor, we are seeking a skilled Geodetic Surveyor Specialist to join our team. This role involves measuring large areas of the Earth's surface using advanced technologies such as satellite observations, global navigation satellite systems (GNSS), light detection and ranging (LIDAR), or related sources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze control or survey data to ensure adherence to project specifications or land survey standards.
  • Conduct surveys to determine exact positions, measurement of points, elevations, lines, areas, volumes, contours, or other features of land surfaces.
  • Determine orientation of tracts of land, including position, boundaries, size, and shape, using theodolites, electronic distance-measuring equipment, satellite-based positioning equipment, land information systems, or other geodetic survey equipment.

The ideal candidate will have excellent mathematics skills, critical thinking abilities, reading comprehension, active listening, complex problem-solving skills, and judgment and decision-making skills.

Salary Estimate: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
