Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced CT Technologist to work in a fast-paced diagnostic imaging environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CT scanning procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Responsibilities:- Perform high-quality CT scans using prescribed techniques and protocols.
- Review requisitions to ensure completeness and accuracy, verifying patient information and exam details.
- Adjust equipment and select technical factors to produce optimal radiographic exposure.
- Utilize standard positioning techniques to obtain diagnostic images.
- Select appropriate protocols for each CT scan procedure, ensuring proper levels of density and contrast.
- Perform scanning procedures of various organs to localize pathological processes.
- Complete examinations in a timely manner, ordering IV and oral contrast as needed.
- Document administration of contrast and scan paperwork in Cerner.
- Perform exam completion, complete screenings/consents, and paper scanning in a timely manner.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in CT scanning.
- Required experience in abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction.
- BLS certification.
- AART certification.
- AART advanced certificate.
- Preferred experience in aspirations/biopsies, colography, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, transplant studies, and PET/CT.
- Day shift, with varying days.
- 40 hours per week.
- Min. 2 years experience, will accept 1st time traveler.
- Required Certs: BLS, AART, AART advanced cert.
