General Surgeon Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled General Surgeon to join our team at Frederick Health Medical Group. As a General Surgeon, you will be responsible for performing general surgery for both acute and elective cases.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform general surgery for both acute and elective cases
  • Support the Frederick Health mission, vision, core values, and customer service philosophy
  • Adhere to the Frederick Health Compliance Program and regulatory requirements
  • Provide high-quality care to patients
  • Maintain necessary CME credits to maintain licensure
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy certification from an approved program
  • Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Maryland
  • Current DEA license
  • Current Maryland Controlled Substance license
  • Current BLS Certification through American Heart Association or an approved training center
Working Conditions:

Light work, lifting up to 20 pounds on an infrequent basis, and carrying up to 10 pounds. Repeating the same motion over and over again places stress on the muscles and tendons.
